Scotchgard™ Protector for carpets, Upholstery and rugs uses a one-step process that treats the entire carpet upholstery or Rug – from the tips of the fibre to the carpet backing – to deliver superb treatment efficiency.
Carpets, Upholstery and Rugs treated with Scotchgard™ Protector are more resistant to staining and soiling and are easier to clean, so the furnishings stay looking good for longer.
Furnishings treated with Scotchgard™ Protector stay cleaner 2 – 3 times longer than similar untreated furnishings.
: Under normal usage, Scotchgard™ Protector will provide long-lasting benefits.
However, performance will diminish every time the carpet is cleaned using hot water extraction. So, 3M recommend that Scotchgard™ Protector be reapplied after every hot water extraction cleaning. Professional cleaners are best equipped to perform such after-treatment.
